Over Two Decades of Insight
We bring over twenty years of specialized experience to the creative sector, focusing on the unique intersection of human resources, fund development, change management, and operational efficiency. Our approach is rooted in collaborative frameworks that empower organizations to navigate complexity with clarity and purpose.
Prior to starting her consulting business, Genny was COO at Penn Museum where she oversaw multiple departments including finance, Capital projects, HR, Building Operations, Retail, Dining, Events, and Visitor Services, and was part of the executive team, helping set the strategic direction for the organization. Previous to Penn Museum, she was Mural Arts Philadelphia’s Chief Advancement Officer and acting Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the strategy and management of revenue sources for the organization, communications, and ensuring day-to-day operations.
From 2015 to 2020 she was Deputy Director at Laguna Art Museum where she worked closely with the Executive Director and Board of Trustees to ensure alignment of goals and budgets, growth of art education programs to diverse communities, and access to art for all. She oversaw a major capital campaign that led to the transformation of gallery spaces and improvement of the art collection’s storage.
Genny has worked in development and management roles at the Tate in London, the Orange County Museum of Art in California, and at the Cleveland Museum of Art in Ohio. She founded and ran a successful contemporary art gallery in Cleveland, Ohio for eight years. She holds a B.A. in international relations from the University of San Diego, an M.B.A. in international business and marketing from the University of San Francisco, and an M.A. in Art History and Museum Studies from Case Western Reserve University, a program closely associated with the Cleveland Museum of Art. In 2017 Genny completed the Getty Leadership Institute program (recently renamed the Museum Leadership Institute).
Genny lives in Center City Philadelphia and enjoys hiking along the Wissahickon. She is Board President of The Print Center and an active member of ArtTable, the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), HRCI, and the American Association of Museums (AAM).
